Overview
The official Fujifilm app only lets you drag a square crop over your photo, so every portrait and landscape shot loses its edges — faces, background, composition. There is no way to just fit the whole image with margins.
This does that: the full image inside a 1800×1800 canvas, with either clean white borders or the photo itself blurred and darkened behind it. Everything runs in the browser at native device pixel ratio, nothing is uploaded, and it works offline once installed.
Engineering
Client-side or it is a different product
Uploading someone’s photos to a server to add white borders would be an absurd trade. Doing the whole pipeline on canvas — pan, zoom, blur fill, high-resolution export — means there is no server, no privacy question and no cost to running it.
